The sequel to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has been long in the making. While the former film was second in the trilogy, it was released in 2023.
Hailee Steinfeld, who voices the character of Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse talked about the film in an interview with Variety. "We’re into it. I wonder sometimes if anything ever gets scrapped, because I’ve said the word Miles in so many different ways and tones — they probably have a whole library," said Steinfeld. She added, "But the process is constantly changing. You never get the full script at the top. It evolves. And that makes it so crazy and fun to be a part of."
It was recently announced that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will release on June 18, 2027. Bob Persichetti and Justin K Thompson will direct the film from a script by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.
Additionally, Prime Video is working on a show based on Spider-Man Noir, a character voiced by Nicholas Cage in the animated films. The series is set in 1930s New York, USA, featuring Cage as the titular private investigator.
