In a recent interview to promote his upcoming directorial, The Thomas Crowne Affair, Michael B Jordan has confirmed plans to expand the Creed franchise, in which he stars as the titular boxer. The actor made his directorial debut with the 2023 film, Creed 3, which started as a Rocky spinoff.

On the possibility of a fourth Creed film, he said, “It’s a franchise that’s been really kind to me in a big way. I love MGM and Irwin Winkler and everything they’ve got going on. I think there’s a bit more story to be mined through that.” It was also earlier revealed that a television spinoff based on Adonis Creed’s daughter was also in development. The actor is also hopeful of returning to the franchise beyond the planned series and Creed IV. “I still might be able to get a couple of really good swings at the franchise a bit more,” he shared.
