Sandra Oh will headline the voice cast for the upcoming animated film Fairyheart. The film is based on Magda Szabo's Hungarian novel, Tunder Lala, which was published in 1956.

Fairyheart will be directed by Anita Doron, who previously made the Oscar nominated film The Breadwinner. Doron has written the film along with Attila Gigor. Storyteller Pictures, Mythberg Films, and Lakeside Animation are the banners backing the film.

The story of Fairyheart centres around Lala, the prince of Tundarra, who needs to save the world from the evil wizard Aterpater. Oh will voice the role of Iris in the film, reported Deadline. The voice cast for Fairyheart also includes Tara Strong, Emma Ho, and Delia Chambers.

Oh was recently seen in Good Fortune which was directed by Aziz Ansari. She played the role of Martha, an angel who strips the wings of another angel, Gabriel (Keanu Reeves), after the latter failed to do his duty.
