We had earlier reported that The Buccaneers has been renewed for the second season. The makers of the Apple TV+ series shared an update about its release date.
The Buccaneers will begin streaming on June 18. The announcement was made along with the first look and a teaser clip from the series. Starting from June 18, the eight-episode second season will get a new episode every Wednesday through August 6, 2025.
The Buccaneers, created by Katherine Jakeaways, revolves around a group of young American girls who break into the stiff culture of London in the 1870s, bringing a breath of fresh air, sidelining the age-old traditions.
The Buccaneers stars Kristine Froseth as Nan St George, Alisha Boe as Conchita Closson, Josie Totah as Mabel Elmsworth, Aubri Ibrag as Lizzy Elmsworth, Imogen Waterhouse as Jinny St George, and Mia Threapleton as Honoria Marable, among others. The series boasts an all-women team, with Katherine Jakeways serving as the writer and Susanna White at the helm.
The series is produced for Apple TV+ by The Forge Entertainment.
