After releasing a behind-the-scenes look at F1, the makers have released an official trailer for the film starring Brad Pitt. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, F1 reunites Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer after Top Gun: Maverick.

The official storyline for the film reads as follows, "Dubbed 'the greatest that never was,' Sonny Hayes was Formula 1’s most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes, owner of a struggling Formula 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to Formula 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. He’ll drive alongside Joshua Pearce, the team's hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny’s past catches up with him, and he finds that in Formula 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone."

F1 stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes and Damson Idris as Joshua Pearce. Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kim Bodnia round up the cast with Javier Bardem as Ruben Cervantes.

The film's screenplay is written by Ehren Kruger, with music composed by Hans Zimmer. Jerry Bruckheimer produces F1 with Kosinski, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Chad Oman, and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. Apple Original Films is producing the film, with Warner Bros Pictures distributing it worldwide.

Joseph Kosinski's F1 is set to release internationally beginning June 25.
