The upcoming indie rom-com, No Place Like Rome, is all set to star Stephen Dorff, Radha Mitchell, and Cristiana Capotondi in lead roles. The film comes from Italian director based in the US, Cecilia Miniucchi.

The film, co-produced by Italy and America, recently went on floors in Rome. No Place Like Rome revolves around Connor (Dorff), an emotionally overwhelmed photographer from America who pays a visit to Rome from New York for the holidays, for work and a vacation. Connor's plans take an unexpected turn when his teenage son cancels their trip to Rome. Instead, he crosses paths with a charming Italian museum curator, played by Capotondi. As she shows him the city's lesser-known gems, Connor decides to extend his stay. Together, they embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the hidden treasures of Rome and possibly a newfound connection.

The extended cast of the film also comprises Italian actors Elisabetta De Palo, Edoardo Natoli, Martina Iacomelli, and Sebastiano Pigazzi.

Miniucchi, born in Rome and based in Los Angeles, has previously helmed the Bob Odenkirk-Radha Mitchell lockdown rom-com, Life Upside Down. She also helmed the oddball comedy Expired, which starred Samantha Morton, Jason Patric, and Teri Garr.

Miniucchi’s long-time producer Jeffrey Coulter is producing No Place Like Rome, along with Carl F Berg, while Claudio Bucci and Angelo Frezza serve as executive producers.
