Actors Erica Dasher, Georgia Leva, Kathleen Kenny and Max Carver will round up the star cast of Peacock's upcoming mystery comedy series The Burbs, starring Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Paula Pell, Julia Duffy, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar.

Carver, Dasher, Kenny and Leva are popular for their roles in The Batman, Jane By Design, Sex Lives of College Girls and You, respectively.

The series is an adaptation of Universal's 1989 horror-comedy of the same name, led by Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, and Bruce Dern. Similar to the film, the series will unfold in the backdrop of Los Angeles.

Written by Celeste Hughey, the series follows a couple, who from the husband's childhood home, move to a suburban area. Their lives aren't the same again after a new neighbour brings some shocking secrets of the cul-de-sac that could potentially cause chaos in the seemingly quiet neighbourhood.

The series will have Seth MacFarlane, Aimee Carlson and Erica Huggins serving as the executive producers for Fuzzy Door, in a deal with Brian Grazer, Natalie Berkus and Kristen Zolner of Imagine Entertainment, the banner behind the 1989 film.
