Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson are an uncanny pair in the trailer for Prime Video’s upcoming film, The Pickup. The trailer for the film was unveiled by the streamer on Monday.

The trailer for The Pickup teases a wild, action-packed ride as two mismatched armoured truck drivers, played by Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson, find their routine cash run hijacked by a criminal crew led by Keke Palmer. What starts as a simple job spirals into chaos, with high-stakes danger, sharp banter, and a heist that’s about much more than money.

Eva Longoria, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Jack Kasy, Andrew Dice Clay and Marshawn Lynch also star inThe Pickup, which is helmed by Tim Story. He has previously helmed The Blackening. The film's script is penned by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider.

John Davis and John Fox have backed the film under the Davis Entertainment banner, along with Murphy and Charisse Hewitt-Webster for Eddie Murphy Productions, and Story for The Story Company.

The Pickup is all set to premiere on Prime Video on August 6.
