The final chapter of the untold story of Oz begins. The trailer for the second Wicked film, Wicked: For Good, is here.

In the trailer, Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now feared as the Wicked Witch of the West, fights from hiding to expose the lies of the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) and free the silenced Animals of Oz. Meanwhile, Glinda (Ariana Grande) shines as the beloved face of goodness, enjoying fame and power in Emerald City under the watchful eye of Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh). But as her wedding to Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) nears, memories of her bond with Elphaba haunt her. In a world on the brink of chaos, Elphaba and Glinda must reunite one last time. Their friendship holds the key to saving Oz—for good.

A two-part film, Wicked is helmed by Jon M Chu. Adapted from Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, the films tell the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West and her former friendship with the Good Witch, Glinda. The musical adaptation of the novel, adapted by Stephen Schwartz and starring Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, debuted on Broadway in 2003.

The scripts for the two-part Wicked film were written by Winnie Holzman, the original Broadway musical book author, and Dana Fox, the co-scribe of Cruella. The films are produced by Marc Platt.

Both Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have received Golden Globe nominations for their performances in Wicked: Part One. The two actors will be seen reprising their roles in Wicked: For Good along with Jonathan Bailey, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, and Jeff Goldblum, among others.

Wicked: For Good is scheduled to hit theatres on November 21, 2025.
