Adeline Rudolph and Arden Cho are set to star in Perfect Girl, a thriller set within the high-stakes universe of the K-pop industry. Previously titled Unnie, Perfect Girl has thriller filmmaker Hong Won-ki as its director. It will feature a soundtrack by prominent K-pop producers Sunshine and Moonshine.
The screenplay by Lynn Q Yu has been called a blend of Scream and Black Swan. The story of the K-pop thriller centers around a newly formed K-pop group getting ready for their global debut at a major concert. The official logline reads thus: "A group of girls have trained for years for only four spots, and the final cut is only a week away. The competition is off the charts. But when a talented and mysterious new girl is introduced at the last minute, things start to get strange – girls are being hunted and attacked one by one."
Known for Resident Evil, Riverdale, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Rudolph's upcoming projects also include Mortal Kombat 2 with director Simon McQuoid.
Cho rose to prominence in the MTV series Teen Wolf. The actor recently starred in Partner Track for Netflix and plays a recurring role in the streamer's own Avatar: The Last Airbender.
