A Working Man Trailer: Jason Statham is back to deal with human trafficking

The film reunites Statham with his The Beekeper director David Ayer

Amazon MGM Studios dropped a trailer for A Working Man earlier on Friday. From the trailer, it seems like the film stars Jason Statham as an ordinary construction worker with a zero-tolerant approach to injustice. There is a missing girl and a human trafficking angle, with Statham as the saviour perhaps. The actor's best-known role, from The Transporter, had similar elements.

The film reunites Statham with his The Beekeper director David Ayer. It also stars Michael Pena, Jason Felmyng, David Harbour, Maximilian Osinski, and Merab Ninidze, among others. David Ayer directed it from a screenplay he penned with actor Sylvester Stallone, based on Chuck Dixon's novel Levon's Trade. Statham is also the producer of the film, alongside Stallone, Ayer, John Friedberg, Chris Long, Kevin King Templeton, and Bill Block.

Ayer is known for Suicide Squad, a film which he has been batting for a director's cut through Warner Bros Pictures.

A Working Man is slated for a March 28 release in theatres.
