The trailer for Companion, the upcoming romantic science fiction psychological thriller film starring Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid in lead roles, is out. The film is written and directed by Drew Hancock and produced by Zach Cregger, Raphael Margules, and J D Lifshitz.

The trailer shows Thatcher's robot character as being exploited by Quaid, who seems to play her companion. She then learns how to control the humans around her and starts seeking revenge in a terrifying and bloody way. The film promises to be a science fiction film with elements of AI horror, humour, and romance.

Lukas Gage, Megan Suri, Harvey Guillén, and Rupert Friend round out the cast of Companion. The executive producers are Tracy Rosenblum and Jamie Buckner.

Companion has cinematography by Eli Born, production design by Scott Kuzio, editing by Brett W Bachman and Josh Ethier, and music by Hrishikesh Hirway. The film is all set to hit theatres on January 31.
