After facing significant problems and delays, Scream 7 has finally gone on floors and the first picture from the sets have been released. Following the first day of shoot, the filmmaker praised the support of his crew and remembered late director Wes Craven.

Debutant Isabel May plays Sidney's daughter. Courtney Cox is set to reprise her role as Gale Weathers.
The project has been revamped following the departure of star Jenna Ortega, the firing of actor Melissa Barrera and the exit of director Christopher Landon last year.
The 2022 Scream reboot's producers, James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, and William Sherak, are producing the film under the banner Project X Entertainment. The makers are yet to disclose its plot details.
Scream 7 is slated for a February 27, 2026, release through Paramount Pictures.
