The trailer for Dope Thief, the upcoming crime drama television series created by Peter Craig, was unveiled by Apple TV+ on Wednesday. Based on the 2009 novel by Dennis Tafoya, the series stars Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura in prominent roles.

The official synopsis of Dope Thief reads, "Two Philadelphia friends who pose as DEA agents to rob a house face the consequences of their actions when it turns out they robbed a large narcotics operation."

The series also stars Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Amir Arison, Ving Rhames, Dustin Nguyen, Nesta Cooper, Kaci Walfall, and Idris Debrand, who also star in Dope Thief. Henry and Craig also serve as executive producers of the series alongside Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Jordan Sheehan, and Clayton Krueger.

Produced by Sun Centre Studios, Scott Free Productions, and Apple Studios, Dope Thief is all set to premiere on Apple TV+ on March 14.
