The trailer for A24's upcoming comedy, Friendship, was unveiled on Tuesday. Starring Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd in lead roles, the film is written and directed by Andrew DeYoung.

The trailer shows Craig (Tim Robinson), seemingly an introvert, being befriended by Paul Rudd's Austin. He's invited to one of Austin's parties and bonds well with the other men there, ending up happy about making new friends. However, as Austin starts distancing himself from Craig, the latter's obsession over the new friendship starts to ruin both their lives.

Kate Mara, Jack Dylan Grazer, Josh Segarra, Billy Bryk, Jason Veasey, Jon Glaser, Eric Rahill, Conner O'Malley, Carmen Christopher, Craig Frank, Omar Torres, Jacob Ming-Trent, Daniel London, Whitmer Thomas, Raphael Sbarge, Ivy Wolk, and Meredith Garretson round out the cast of Friendship.

Produced by Raphael Margules and J D Lifshitz of Fifth Season and BoulderLight Pictures, respectively, Friendship is all set to hit theatres in May 2025. It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2024, as part of the festival's Midnight Madness program.
