Netflix revealed that Lola Petticrew will be joining the cast of the upcoming Assassin's Creed series. The upcoming series has been in development for five years, after Netflix announced their partnership with the makers of the video game, Ubisoft.

Roberto Patino and David Weiner have created the series, and are serving as the showrunners for the series. "We’ve been fans of Assassin’s Creed since its release in 2007. Every day we work on this show, we come away excited and humbled by the possibilities that Assassin’s Creed opens to us. Beneath the scope, the spectacle, the parkour and the thrills is a baseline for the most essential kind of human story — about people searching for purpose, struggling with questions of identity and destiny and faith. It is about power and violence and sex and greed and vengeance," said the creators to Netflix.

The upcoming series is the second live-action adaptation of Assassin's Creed franchise, with the 2016 film of the same name being the first. Directed by Justin Kurzel, Assassin's Creed (2016) starred Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard.

Toby Wallace previously joined the Netflix adaptation as the first lead and series regular. The details of the plot and the characters of Wallace and Petticrew are yet to be revealed.

Petticrew has previously appeared in projects like She Said (2022), Tuesday (2023), and Anne Boleyn (2021).
