Paul Dano has joined the cast of Oscar winner Floria Zeller's upcoming psychological thriller, Bunker. Zeller won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his film The Father.
Zeller's Bunker is the followup to his 2022 film, The Son, according to Variety. The psychological thriller starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, and Anthony Hopkins. The film followed the story of troubled boy and his strained relationship with his parents. Bunker is currently in its second week of filming.
The cast of Bunker is led by Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, with Stephen Graham and Patrick Schwarzenegger also playing important roles. The story of the film is centred on a family, whose secrets begin to unravel after a secretive construction project, initiated by a tech businessman impedes into their lives.
Dano is recently at the centre of attention at Hollywood after being at the receiving end of comments from Quentin Tarantino, who called him a "weak actor". He has also recieved solidarity from actors and filmmakers after the comments were made.
The actor will be seen in The Wizard of Kremlin, a movie about the rise of Vladmir Putin. Dano will be essaying the role of a fictional Kremlin insider, with Jude Law as Vladmir Putin.
