After David Harbour's reported disappearance from several press engagements ahead of Stranger Things 5 premiere, actor Millie Bobby Brown shut down speculations about him, highlighting the strong bond between them.

In an interview with Deadline, she said, "Of course I felt safe. We've worked together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on that set," she said, talking about working with the 50-year-old actor.

Further underscoring their relationship on screen as father Jim Hopper and adoptive daughter Eleven/Jane Hopper, she said, "Naturally, you have a closer bond than the rest, because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season two." Noting her "great relationship" with David, Millie described their work together as a "labour of love," adding that he helped in elevating her craft as an actor.

For the uninitiated, Brown, 20, who plays Eleven, had recently reportedly filed a formal complaint accusing Harbour of bullying and harassment before filming for Stranger Things 5 commenced. The allegations reportedly spanned “pages and pages”, and while serious in nature, did not involve sexual misconduct, sources clarified.

However, both the actors were seen sharing a warm, caring hug ahead of the series premiere in an event at TCL Chinese Theatre. Brown and Harbour's joint appearance had made it clear that their off-screen relationship remains friendly and supportive as the series approaches its final chapter. While his non participation during the press junkets was a point of concern for many fans, a source informed to E! News that he was occupied with another project.
