The wait for the final season of Stranger Things is almost over, and co-creator Ross Duffer has just given fans a thrilling peek into what’s coming. Taking to Instagram, Duffer shared what he called the “ACTUAL runtimes” for Stranger Things Season 5: Volume 1, which hits Netflix on November 26.

According to the video shared, the first four episodes clock in at some impressive lengths. The opening chapter, “The Crawl”, runs for 1 hour and 8 minutes, followed by “The Vanishing of…” at 54 minutes. “The Turnbow Trap” will last 1 hour and 6 minutes, while “Sorcerer”—the fourth episode—comes in as the longest of the batch at 1 hour and 23 minutes.

As for what’s next, Volume II is set to drop on December 25 with three more episodes, and the series finale will begin streaming on December 31.

Duffer also offered a quick production update back in August, confirming that the first two episodes were completely finished. “Chapters One and Two: locked, mixed, scored, coloured, DONE,” he wrote, teasing that The Crawl is their “most eventful episode since Season 1.”

He didn’t stop there—the second episode, he promised, will kick off with “by far the craziest cold open we’ve ever done”, calling it “one of the sequences we’re most proud of this season”.

The upcoming season will see the return of beloved characters played by Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Noah Schnapp, alongside Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Hamilton.
