Jason Isaacs is not a stranger to grave situations, as he will enter a hostage situation, after working for Voldemort and worst of all, committing financial crimes. Isaacs is the latest to join the cast of the thriller Eleven Days.

Based on the true story of the 1974 Huntsville Prison Seige in Hunstville, USA, the film will adapt the 2004 book Eleven Days In Hell: The 1974 Carrasco Prison Siege at Huntsville, Texas, which was written by William T Harper. The siege was caused due to a drug dealer and inmate Federico Carrasco taking control of the prison along with two of his fellow inmates.

According to Deadline, Isaacs will play the prison chaplain, Father Joseph O'Brien, who will join forces with Jim Estelle, the head of the Texas Department of Corrections (the government authority for prisons in the US), to thwart the plans of the instigators and save the inmates by offering himself as a hostage.

Taylor Kitsch will star as Jim Estelle in Eleven Days. The actor will be seen next in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which will stream on Prime Video from August 27. Meanwhile, Frederico Carrasco, will be portrayed by Diego Luna. Known for portraying Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and in the streaming series, Andor, Luna is directing a new feature titled A Mouthful of Ash.

Eleven Days is written by Kevin Sheridan and Peter Landesman, with Landesman directing the feature.

Isaacs received an Emmy nomination for his role as a financier in the third season of The White Lotus. He will be seen alongside Kristen Stewart, Oscar Isaac, and Elizabeth Olsen in Flesh of the Gods.
