Actor Elizabeth Olsen has joined Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac in the upcoming film Flesh of the Gods. Described as a vampire thriller, the film is directed by Italian-Canadian filmmaker Panos Cosmatos, known for Beyond the Black Rainbow and Mandy.
Isaac and Stewart take on the roles of Raoul and Alex, a married couple living in a lavish high-rise apartment in the dazzling world of 1980s Los Angeles. Each night, they leave behind their luxurious lifestyle to explore the city’s vibrant, neon-soaked nightlife. Their lives take a dramatic turn when they encounter the enigmatic Nameless (Olsen) and her wild, thrill-seeking entourage. Drawn in by the allure of excess and danger, Raoul and Alex find themselves swept into a surreal and intoxicating world of pleasure, chaos, and violence.
Scripted by Andrew Kevin Walker, Flesh of the Gods is based on Cosmatos and Walker's story. The film is backed by Adam McKay and Betsy Koch of Hyperobject Industries and Gena Konstantinakos and Isaac for Mad Gene Media.
Stewart is back in a vampire film after her acclaimed performance in the Twilight franchise.
