As Ryan Coogler's allegorical vampire film Sinners continues its successful run at the box office, actor Tom Cruise took to social media to laud the film's cast and crew. Sharing a photograph of him standing in front of a Sinners poster, Cruise wrote, "Congratulations Ryan, Michael, and to the entire cast and crew. Must see in a cinema and stay through the end credits!"

Tom Cruise is a longtime advocate of the theatrical cinematic experience. When the world was going through the COVID pandemic five years ago, he shared on social media a video of him going to a theatre to watch Christopher Nolan's science-fiction action thriller Tenet. "Big Movie. Big Screen. Loved it," Cruise wrote about the Nolan directorial.

Coming back to Sinners, the Ryan Coogler directorial recently became the first horror film to earn an 'A' on CinemaScore, which surveys audiences in order to find out their ratings for film viewing experiences. Coogler's first original film since 2013's Fruitvale Station, Sinners tells the story of identical twins (Michael B Jordan in a dual role) who return to their hometown in Mississippi to start a juke joint. Also starring Miles Caton, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O'Connell, Omar Benson Miller, and Delroy Lindo, among others, Sinners reportedly grossed over $161 million from theatres worldwide.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is gearing up for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which is releasing on May 17 in India, a week ahead of the rest of the world.
