The trailer for Bride Hard, starring Rebel Wilson in the lead role, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. The film is directed by Simon West, known for The Expendables 2 and Con Air.
The official synopsis for Bride Hard reads, “When a mercenary group takes a lavish wedding hostage, they have no idea what they are in for as the Maid of Honour is actually a secret agent ready to rain hellfire upon anyone who would ruin her best friend's wedding.”
Bride Hard also stars Anna Camp, Anna Chlumsky, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Gigi Zumbado, Stephen Dorff, and Justin Hartley, among others. Wilson reunites with Camp after working together in Pitch Perfect. Bride Hard is written by Cece Pleasants and Shaina Steinberg.
Bob Yari of Magenta Light Studios, Joel David Moore of Balcony 9, Colleen Camp, Cassian Elwes, Max Osswald, and Jason Ross Jallet are the producers of the film. Bride Hard is all set to hit theatres on June 20.
