It was earlier reported that John Travolta, Dermot Mulroney, and Mandy Patinkin will star in a film titled November 1963, exploring the events around US President John F Kennedy's murder. The latest from the project is that The Full Monty star Robert Carlyle and Yellowstone star Jefferson White have joined the film's cast. Carlyle and White are set to play Jack Ruby and Lee Harvey Oswald, respectively. For the uninitiated, Oswald assassinated JFK on November 22, 1963, and Ruby killed him in what the Warren Commission called an act of impulsive retaliation.

According to reports, director Roland Joffe's film will explore the element of mystery around JFK's assassination from a fresh perspective. It will look into the part that the criminal organisation Chicago Outfit played in the JFK assassination, with insights from mob boss Sam Giancana's family. Giancana's nephew, Nicholas Celozzi has not only written the screenplay for November 1963, but he is also producing it under Le Monde Productions, alongside Kevin DeWalt for Mind’s Eye Entertainment. Sam Giancana's daughter Bonnie Giancana is also part of the project as an executive producer.

It will star Travolta, Patinkin, and Mulroney as important members of the criminal group. The film is set to go on floors later this year.
