Get Away trailer: A family of four go for a killer vacation, literally

The film is written by and stars Nick Frost along with Aisling Bea, Sebastian Croft, and Maisie Ayres in lead roles

The trailer for Get Away, the slasher comedy film directed by Steffen Haars and written by Nick Frost, was unveiled on Thursday. Frost also stars in the lead role alongside Aisling Bea, Sebastian Croft, and Maisie Ayres. 

The trailer shows a family of four embarking on a vacation to an island, they expect to be tranquil. What starts as a relaxing family vacation on a remote island quickly becomes a fight for survival when they stumble upon evidence of a serial killer lurking in the shadows.

The official logline of Get Away reads, "A family's vacation to a remote getaway takes an unexpected turn when they discover the island they're on is inhabited by a serial killer."

Get Away, produced by Nick Frost, John Hegeman, and Lee Kim, premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 20, 2024. Distributed by IFC Films and Shudder, Get Away is all set to hit theatres on December 6.
