The trailer for Cellar Door, a thriller film directed by Vaughn Stein and starring Jordana Brewster and Scott Speedman in lead roles, was unveiled on Tuesday.

The trailer shows Brewster and Speedman as a couple who are offered an old but beautiful villa by Laurence Fishburne with one condition: never to open the cellar door. However, as they start living their life in the house, they can't resist opening the door as they believe something is behind it.

The official synopsis of Cellar Door reads, " In this suspenseful thriller, a city-dwelling couple is looking to relocate to the suburbs of Portland, Oregon. While visiting the grandiose home of Emmett, a mysterious man with a talent for pairing the right property with the right people, the couple is suddenly gifted the house of their dreams with one nonnegotiable condition — they must never open the cellar door. As time passes, the couple realizes that old houses are indeed like people…they all have their deep, dark secrets."

Addison Timlin, Chris Conner, Katie O’Grady, and Randy Sean Schulman round out the cast of Cellar Door. Written by Sam Scott and Lori Evans Taylor, the film's release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
