The production banner of Heretic, A24 has released another poster for the horror film featuring Hugh Grant. The film, which had its world premiere at the recent Toronto International Film Festival, is co-written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. It also stars Sophie Thatcher in a lead role, alongside Chloe East of The Fabelmans fame.

The official logline reads, "Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse."

Reportedly, Grant plays a sinister villain in the film. Recently, he revealed that he has been getting villain roles after a career break in the Wachowskis' Cloud Atlas. He also did a negative role in The Undoing, the recent series with Nicole Kidman.

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods are the screenwriters of actor-director John Krasinski's A Quiet Place, the Adam Driver starrer dinosaur film 65, Haunt, and Stephen King's The Boogeyman adaptation.

Heretic is slated for a November 15 release in theatres.
