Lifetime is reportedly developing a film based on the popular soap opera All My Children. The film, titled Christmas in Pine Valley, will be set in the fictional place of Pine Valley, Pennsylvania, which is where the TV show is based out of.

While the film is still in its early stages and there isn't much information on the cast and crew, this is not the first such spin-off to be announced. ABC previously had an unsuccessful attempt at reviving the series through the sequel Pine Valley, which failed to materialize. The TV show ran for over 40 years; its first episode premiered way back in 1970, while it was wrapped in 2013.

All My Children revolves around the lives of several families who are interconnected through relationships. The show is noteworthy for portraying sensitive social topics like homosexuality, racism, and abortion.
