The trailer for The Radleys, starring Kelly Macdonald and Damian Lewis in lead roles, was unveiled on Tuesday. A comedy horror, the film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Matt Haig. 

The trailer shows the Radley family as a family of vampires. While the parents choose to abstain from drinking blood, the children are not able to give up their desire. So their uncle, a practising vampire, is called to help them in the situation. 

The film's official synopsis reads, "A dark comedy thriller about a seemingly average suburban family with a juicy secret: they are vampires. In the light of day, the Radleys might seem normal, but they can only abstain from their natural cravings for so long until the bloody truth bubbles to the surface and turns their quiet country life upside down." 

Harry Baxendale, Bo Bragason, Sophia Di Martino and Shaun Parkes round out the cast of The Radleys. The film is helmed by Euros Lyn and has a screenplay by Talitha Stevenson and Jo Brand. Produced by Debbie Gray for Genesius Pictures, the film is all set to hit theatres on October 4.
