Selena Gomez, who recently received her first Emmy nomination for acting, is now a billionaire, according to Bloomberg. The actress and singer's make-up brand, Rare Beauty, reportedly did sales of $400 million in twelve months, catapulting her wealth. This makes Gomez, who is the world's third most followed person on Instagram, one of the youngest billionaires ever.

Gomez stars in and executive produces the Emmy Awards-winning Hulu mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building, which reportedly makes $6 million a season. She is also set to star in the pilot episode of the upcoming reboot series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, for which she is an executive producer. Selena made her name as a teenager with the leading role of the original Wizards of Waverly Place but carved out a pop career in the years that followed.

Her Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series is pending and yet to be announced. Her most recent music album, Rare, was released in 2020.
