Will and Harper trailer: A beautiful journey of Will Ferrell's friendship with Harper Steele

Netflix unveiled the trailer for the upcoming documentary film Will and Harper, starring Will Ferrell and Harper Steele in lead roles. Directed by Josh Greenbaum, the film premiered at the 40th Sundance Film Festival in January 2024. 

The trailer shows how Ferrell's friend from Saturday Night Live, Andrew Steele, reached out to him during the pandemic to inform him that he is gender transitioning. Now names Harper, Ferrell and Steele take a 17-day trip across the United States of America during which the actor tries to understand what his friend has gone through.

The official synopsis of Will and Harper reads, "Will Ferrell and his close friend, former head writer at SNL, Harper Steele, embark on a cross-country road trip together after Harper comes out as a trans woman."

Produced by Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, Josh Greenbaum, Christopher Leggett, and Rafael Marmor, Will and Harper is all set to premiere on Netflix on September 27.
