The makers of the upcoming film Joker: Folie A Deux released a new poster, focussing on Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, also known as Joker, and Lady Gaga's character Harley Quinn. The film is co-written, directed, and co-produced by Todd Phillips, who was also the filmmaker for the first part, Joker (2019).

Also written by Scott Silver, the film's supporting cast includes the likes of Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey. Produced by Phillips and Bradley Cooper, Joker: Folie A Deux is slated for an October 4 release. The film had its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2024, where it will be competing for the Golden Lion.

According to the official plotline, the film finds Arthur Fleck institutionalised at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love but also finds the music that's always been inside him.
