Dead and Buried trailer: Some things are better laid to rest

The trailer for the psychological drama television series, Dead and Buried, starring  Annabel Scholey and Colin Morgan in lead roles, was unveiled on Monday. The four-part series is adapted by Colin Bateman, from his play Bag for Life

The description for Dead and Buried reads, "Cathy's chance run-in with her brother's killer ignites a twisted quest for revenge." From the trailer, we understand that Cathy is a young mother and that Michael (Morgan), who plays the murderer has served the sentence for his crime. 

The extended cast of Dead and Buried includes Kerri Quinn, Owen Roe, Waj Ali, Niamh Walsh, Michael Hanna, Declan Rodgers, and Joanne Crawford.  Laura Way is the director of the series. Virgin Media Television, All3Media, Three River Fiction, and Vico Films are producing alongside BBC Studios. 

A release date for Dead and Buried is yet to be announced by the makers.
