Netflix unveiled the teaser for the sixth season of Virgin River on Tuesday. The romantic drama series is based on the Virgin River novels by Robyn Carr. The series was renewed for a sixth season in May 2023, ahead of the fifth-season premiere.
Virgin River revolves around Melinda Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), who serves as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the remote Northern California town of Virgin River. As her life moves in the small town, she discovers that living there is more complex than expected.
The teaser shows Jack (Martin Henderson), finally taking the big step and proposing to Mel. The rest of the teaser shows the two happily pariticipating in wedding-related chores like buying the wedding dress, rehearsing for the first dance, and more.
Developed by Sue Tenney, Virgin River features an ensemble cast including Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O'Toole, Tim Matheson, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Marco Grazzini, Mark Ghanimé, and Kai Bradbury, among others.
The sixth season of Virgin River is all set to premiere on Netflix on December 19.
