Singer-writer Alana Haim, who will next be seen in The Battle of Baktan Cross, the Paul Thomas Anderson film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has landed two more films, reported The Hollywood Reporter. Haim onboards Kelly Reichardt's The Mastermind, which stars Josh O' Connor in the lead, and Kristoffer Borgli's The Drama, which stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles.

The Grammy award-nominated musician is known for songs like Want You Back and Little of Your Love. She made her acting debut with the 2021 comedy Pizza.

The Mastermind is set in the Vietnam War and will follow the women's liberation movement in America. The film will be produced by Neil Kopp, Anish Savjani, and Vincent Savino of filmscience. On the other hand, The Drama revolves around Zenedya and Pattinson, who play a couple in the days leading up to their wedding, where they are faced with challenges through surprising revelations. The film, which begins shooting later this month, is produced by Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Tyler Campellone of Square Peg.
