The production and distribution company Buffalo 8 has picked up the rights to distribute a horror thriller titled Final Recovery worldwide as a holiday release. Leading the cast of the film is Jasper Cole, who makes his debut as a lead actor after earning more than 120 TV and film credits in his four-decade-long career. Harley Wallen directs Final Recovery from a screenplay by author Jerry Lee Davis and Emmy Award nominee Nick Theurer.

The film is set in a Southeast Michigan-based addiction recovery centre that prioritises profits over treatment. Most people in town regard its owner and operator Louise Stamey as a saint-like figure, but the reality is more sinister and twisted. Things start to unravel when two patients become doubtful of Louise’s intentions.

The cast also includes Charlene Tilton, Richard Tyson, Michael Emery, Cherish Lee, Kaiti Wallen, and Damian Chinappi.

The film also marks the first acting collaboration between Lee and his real-life daughter Tiltom. Lee also contributed many original tracks to the feature film’s album.
