Christopher Nolan is all set to reunite with Universal Studios for his next. The production house recently distributed Nolan's Oppenheimer, which went on to bag several Academy Awards. The yet-to-be-titled film is scheduled for Imax release on July 17, 2026. Reportedly, Matt Damon is in talks to star in the film. Universal is yet to provide an official confirmation.  

Plot details are scarce, but speculations are that the film is scheduled to go on floors in early 2025. Nolan will not only direct but also write the screenplay, with his wife Emma Thomas producing under their Syncopy banner. 

If reports turn out to be true, then this upcoming film will mark Damon's third collaboration with Nolan after Interstellar (2014) and Oppenheimer. The film will mark Nolan's 13th as a director.
