On Thursday, Netflix unveiled the trailer for its upcoming thriller series, The Madness.

The series stars Academy Award nominee Colman Domingo in the role of media pundit Muncie Daniels, who finds himself in a desperate struggle to prove his innocence and protect his life after he stumbles across a murder scene deep in the remote woods of the Poconos mountains. As the noose tightens, Muncie must also reconnect with his estranged family—and rekindle his long-lost ideals—in order to stay alive.

The Madness also features Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, and Thaddeus J. Mixon. It is the brainchild of Stephen Belber, who serves as co-showrunner along with executive producer VJ Boyd.

The miniseries will consist of eight episodes in total. Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kaitlin Dahill are on board as executive producers, along with the series' director Clément Virgo.

The Madness is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on November 28.
