Hope Davis, Bill Camp, Gaby Hoffmann, and more round out the cast of The Mastermind

Set in New England in 1970, the film will follow an audacious art heist

An ensemble cast has been rounded out by filmmaker Kelly Reichardt for her upcoming period art heist film, The Mastermind, for Mubi. Hope Davis, Bill Camp, Gaby Hoffmann, Amanda Plummer, Eli Gelb, Cole Doman, Javion Allen, Matthew Maher and Rehnzy Feliz are the latest additions to the cast. 

They will be joining the previously announced cast members Josh O'Connor, Alana Haim and John Magaro. Set in New England in 1970, the film will follow an audacious art heist. The roles these actors are playing are yet to be disclosed. The production for The Mastermind is currently underway and is scheduled to be wrapped up by the end of the year. 

Reichardt, known for films like First Cow and Old Joy, is helming The Mastermind from her own script. Filmscience's Neil Kopp, Anish Savjani and Vincent Savino are producing along with Mubi, who is financing and distributing in select territories, including North America, the UK, Ireland, LatAm, Germany, Austria, Benelux, Turkey and India.
