Days after Matt Routledge's conspiracy thriller The Awakening went on floors at Pinewood Studios in London, makers have unveiled some of the cast members.

According to sources, actors Alice Eve and Eddie Hall have been cast in the film. The two will join other cast members Peter Stormare, Steven Berkoff, Matt Hookings and Julian Glover.

The film, produced by Camelot Media and Awakening Productions, stars Justin Tinto, who has also penned the script, in the lead.

The Awakening follows the 'global control' trope among conspiracy films. It is about Jason Byrd (Tinto) and Rebecca (Eve) investigating a conspiracy to control the world that leads them into a maze of secrets and dangers.

The film's technical crew boasts Dune cinematographer Laszlo Bille, editor Chris Gill, and stunt director Luke Tumbler of the Venom: Let There Be Carnage fame. Camelot Media's Tim Kent and Matt Hookings will produce, while Alice Eve will serve as the executive producer.
