Gilmore Girls' Lauren Graham and The Nightingale‘s Aisling Franciosi are now a part of the cast of Three Point Capital and David Permut Production’s Twinless. Graham and Franciosi will be starring opposite Dylan O’Brien and James Sweeney. The film is described as a dark-comedy, written and directed by Sweeny who is best known for his 2019 rom-com Straight Up. 

The story revolves around two youngsters who meet at twin bereavement support group gatherings and form a close male bond with each other. This film marks the second project of Sweeny as a director and writer after Straight Up, which earned him a Best First Screenplay nomination at the 2021 Independent Spirit Awards. Sweeney also directed the 2019 drama Brooklyn Love Stories.

O’Brien and Miky Lee are executive producing the film. Alex Astrachan, Director of Development at Permut Presentations, is co-producing. Republic Pictures has worldwide rights to the film. Three Point Capital is financing the film with Ali Jazayeri, Liz Destro, and David Gendron also serving as executive producers. 

Lauren Graham is known for her roles in Bad Santa, Because I Said So and Sweet November. She has The Z-Suite in the pipeline.

Aisling Franciosi is known for her roles in The Fall, The Unforgivable, and The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Her future projects are Speak No Evil, Rothko, Turn Up the Sun! and The Abandons.
