Mofac Animation is developing a feature film inspired by Jesus Christ's life and Charles Dickens' book The Life of Our Lord. Seong-ho Jang's directorial film is titled The King of Kings and is in the last phase of production. It reportedly has a voice cast that includes high-profile actors, which Mofac Animation plans on revealing later.

The film follows Dickens and his son Walter as the two read the former's book about Jesus Christ's story, a holiday convention in their family, although it was only published after the novelist's demise. Joining the Dickens family members in the reading session is their cat, Willa.

Speaking on the project, Jang said, “This is a deeply personal story to all of us on the production crew, and we know it resonates with so many around the world. The added joy of this little-known iteration is that you see the story unfold not only from Charles Dickens’ unique literary perspective, but through his son Walter’s eyes — which ultimately provides young viewers with even greater access and understanding of who Jesus was and all that he represents (sic).”

Anfernee Kim is producing the film, where Woo-Hyung Kim serves as cinematographer, Tae-seong Kim as composer, and Jamie Thomason as casting and voice director. Thomason is also executive producing the film with Andrew Mann.
