Alan Ritchson to star in Patrick Hughes' War Machine

Alan Ritchson, the star of Reacher, is all play a role in War Machine, Patrick Hughes' science-fiction film for Netflix. Lionsgate created its screenplay with Hughes, who is best known as the director of The Hitman’s Bodyguard duology. Hughes co-wrote the screenplay with James Beaufort, and Lionsgate set this title in an agreement with Netflix.

War Machine is being produced by Alex Young and Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures, Rich Cook of Range Media Partners, and Greg McLean and Hughes of Huge Film. The film follows a group of US Army Rangers who come across an extraordinary threat amid the last day of the most challenging selection process in the world.

Ritchson is now on the sets of Playdate, and he will soon join the production of Reacher season three. His upcoming releases include The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Guy Ritchie's WW II film that also stars Henry Cavill, and the 11th instalment in the Fast and Furious film franchise.
