Earlier, we reported that Florence Pugh joined the cast of Marvel's Thunderbolts and that it would go on floors this April. Pugh has now dropped a video clip on Instagram from the film's shooting location that shows her suited up as Yelena Belova. It is a character that she first played in the standalone Black Widow film.

“Hey guys, how are you doing? I know I’ve dropped off for a little bit, but that’s partially because I was whisked off to Atlanta to shoot a movie that I’m not really supposed to talk about,” says Pugh in the clip. “But I can show you things, sneakily, as long as you don’t tell anyone…I can show you a sneak peek of the set. They’re shooting. I’ll be quiet now.”

The video then shows Pugh running into Jake Schreier, her Thunderbolts director, so occupied with his work while saying, “I don’t even think you’re supposed to be doing this.”

Showing off her suit, the actor gave MCU fans a sneak peek into how her character would appear in the next film in the universe.

Thunderbolts is slated for a May 2, 2025 review. The Marvel Comics-based film is about a group of reformed supervillains and antiheroes.

The cast of the film also includes Olga Kurylenko, Geraldine Viswanathan, Hannah John-Kamen, and Wyatt Russell.
