Actor Brandon Sklenar, who is known for his films Midway and Mapplethorpe, has joined to the star cast of Paranormal Activity director Christopher Landon's upcoming film Drop.

Touted to be a thriller, makers are closemouthed about Drop's plotline. Brandon Sklenar will pair up with Meghann Fahy for the movie.

The movie, produced by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Cameron Fuller and Jason Blum, is penned by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. Drop will be released under the banner of Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse, the collaboration has delivered hits with its Purge franchise.

Among his other works, Sklenar will play Atlas Corrigan alongside Blake Lively for Sony's film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-seller 'It Ends With Us'. The actor also plays Harrison Ford for the Paramount+ series 1923. Filming of the series' season 2 is expected to commence this summer.
