Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington to star in the series adaptation of the Imperfect Women

Actors Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington have teamed up for the series adaptation of Aramint Hall's novel Imperfect Women for Apple TV+.

The book will be adapted by Annie Weisman as a limited series. It is to be noted the show will be a co-production of 20th Television and Apple Studios.

Imperfect Women tells the story of Nancy Hennessy, who is murdered. Following her demise, her close friends learn that Nancy has lived a life they are unaware of, as her life is not as perfect as it was in the outside world; during the investigation of the murder, as the secrets are unveiled, Nancy's close friends are left with dilemmas about their fried, their friendship and even themselves.

Apart from acting, Moss and Washington will also executive produce the show. Araminta Hall and Weisman also serve as the show's executive producers.

Meanwhile, Moss, who was last seen in Taika Waititi's Next Goal Wins, has a thriller film, Shell, in the pipeline. On the other hand,Washington, who was last seen in the Hulu series Unprisoned, has Six Triple Eight and Shadow Force in the various stages of post-production.
