Actors Naomie Harris and Pierce Brosnan have joined forces with Steven Soderbergh for his new spy thriller Black Bag.

Soderbergh is better known for his heist thrillers, the Ocean's trilogy.

Naomie Harris has played Moneypenny in James Bond movies headlined by Daniel Craig (Skyfall, Spectre, No Time To Die) and Pierce Brosnan has played James Bond in The World Is Not Enough, Golden Eye, Die Another Day and Tomorrow Never Dies.

The star cast of Black Bag includes Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Regé Jean Page and Marisa Abela.

Soderbergh's spy thriller is bankrolled by Casey Silver and Greg Jacobs, and is written by David Koepp.

The grapevine is, Black Bag will testify for Soderbergh's love for James Bond films. However, the crew is tightlipped about the plot of the film.
