Michael Jai White onboard 'Hostile Takeover' actioner

Michael Jai White has signed up for the action film that has Hostile Takeover as its working title. Production for Hostile Takeover has started at a Saskatchewan facility. Markos Rounthwaite is directing the film, in which White comes as an NYC-based hitman who is so obsessed of his job. Rounthwaite is known for his stunt direction work on films such as The Bourne Ultimatum and Casino Royale.

Aimee Stolte is White's girlfriend Mora; the duo find themselves in an on-again/off-again relationship in the film. Further details about the film's cast and plot are under wraps.

White is most popular for his headliner role in Black Dynamite (2009) and for playing a mobster from Gotham City in The Dark Knight (2008).

Karma Films and Dovetale Media are the producers of Hostile Takeover, with Rounthwaite stepping in as executive producer.
