Christopher Storer to adapt and direct The Lincoln Highway

Christopher Storer, creator of The Bear, is all set to adapt The Lincoln Highway written by Amor Towles, for Warner Bros.

A New York Times Bestseller, The Lincoln Highway revolves around siblings Emmett Watson and his little brother Billy, in the aftermath of their father's demise. With hopes of finding their mother in California, they go in search on their new home. But as Emmett's friends escape from juvenile detention, the siblings are forced to change their route.

David Heyman of Heyday Films is backing the film along with Storer and Josh Senior through American Light & Fixture and Tyson Bidner.

Towles has also written Roles of Civility and A Gentleman in Moscow, also New York Times bestsellers. The three novels, including The Lincoln Highway, collectively sold more than 6 million copies and have also been translated into more than 30 languages.
