Prime Video has announced a new psychological thriller series Fear starring Line of Duty star Martin Compston and Vigil's Anjli Mohindra. According to reports, filming for the three-part series is underway and would be shot entirely in Glasgow.

The official summary reads, "Excited to make a fresh start away from London, Martyn (Martin Compston) and Rebecca (Anjli Mohindra)  move into a beautiful house in Glasgow with their two young children. At first the new home seems idyllic, but when their neighbour Jan (Solly McLeod) makes unnerving comments to Rebecca it turns out to be the start of something far more intimidating. Facing accusations that are every parent's worst nightmare, and with the authorities refusing to step in, Martyn and Rebecca feel they have nowhere to turn to for help."

The cast for the series also includes Solly McLeod (Tom Jones), BAFTA-winning James Cosmo (Jack Ryan), Maureen Beattie (Deadwater Fell), Daniel Portman (Game of Thrones), Anneika Rose (Crossfire) and Bhav Joshi (Diplomat).

The show comes from Amazon’s The Rig producer Wild Mercury and Capricorn Productions. Banijay Rights is selling worldwide and Fear will launch on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland next year.
